Access Blackboard Learn UH Login Page
To enroll the Blackboard sign-in site for the UH, please follow this instruction:
- Open your web browser and go to the UH’s Blackboard main website at https://accessuh.uh.edu/login.php
- On the AccessUH login page, enter your Cougarnet username and password.
- After logging in to AccessUH, click on the link to access the Blackboard portal.
Note that you must have a valid Cougarnet account to access Blackboard at the UH. If you are a new user, you may need to activate your account before you can log in to Blackboard.
- If you fail to log in multiple times, you will be locked out of your account for 5 minutes.
- Wait 5 minutes before you try again.
- Resetting your passcode will NOT start the lockout period again.

The faculty office is the place to go for new professors to get set up with Blackboard, PeopleSoft, and CougarNet.
Access UH Bb Learn with your CougarNet credentials here. Within 24 to 48 hours of registering, you’ll be able to access the Blackboard icon.
- To find where your category is, check out Bb Learn Course Finder.
- Don’t know your CougarNet ID? Look it up at strong password.
- The passcode cannot contain your CougarNet ID, first name, middle name or last name.
- Wait 10-15 minutes for the passcode reset to take effect.
- PIN code are case sensitive.
- All passwords expire every 180 days.
